About AbaSkill Connect
AbaSkill Connect is a Nigerian artisan marketplace that connects customers with skilled workers and small businesses in Aba, Abia State. Our goal is to help artisans find customers, showcase their work, build trust, and grow their businesses — while helping customers find reliable professionals.
How verification works
Artisans can apply for two separate, optional verifications: identity verification and business (CAC) verification. Each application is reviewed by an administrator before a badge is awarded. Automated NIN and CAC checks require a configured, authorised provider; until then, verification is handled through secure manual review.
Verification does not guarantee the quality of an artisan's work or eliminate all scam risks. It only confirms that an administrator reviewed the identity or business details.
What information is public
- · Artisan name, skills, services, location (general area), service areas, bio, portfolio and availability.
- · Verification badges (identity/business) — but never the underlying documents or NIN numbers.
- · Genuine customer reviews linked to completed jobs.
How your private information is protected
- · Customer request details and reference photos are only visible to you and the intended artisan.
- · Sensitive verification information is restricted to authorised reviewers.
- · Private files are accessed through secure, time-limited signed links.
- · You can request correction of your information or deletion of your account at any time.
Reporting & support
You can report a suspicious profile or review from the profile page, or report a general problem from the footer. Reports are reviewed by administrators. See our Contact page for support arrangements.
