The following content is prohibited on AbaSkill Connect:
- Illegal goods or services
- Counterfeit or pirated products
- Weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials
- Adult or sexually explicit content
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
- False or misleading claims about identity, qualifications, or services
- Stolen property or goods obtained through fraud
- Content that infringes on another person's intellectual property
2. Fraud Prevention
Fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited, including:
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating another person or business
- Using stolen payment cards or unauthorized payment methods
- Colluding to inflate ratings or reviews
- Requesting or accepting payment outside the platform to evade commission
- Providing false verification documents or information
- Manipulating the dispute or refund system
3. Verification Integrity
Verification badges (identity and business) are granted only after genuine administrator review. Uploading portfolio media does not automatically verify an artisan. Entering an NIN number or uploading a document does not constitute verification. Attempting to bypass verification checks may result in permanent account suspension.
4. Reporting
Users can report suspicious profiles, reviews, or content using the "Report" option. Reports are reviewed by administrators. To report a problem, use the report page or the report button on any artisan profile.
5. Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Content removal
- Profile suspension or permanent removal
- Forfeiture of pending earnings
- Reporting to relevant authorities where illegal activity is suspected
6. Data Protection
Private documents (NIN, CAC, dispute evidence, reference photos) are stored securely and are never exposed through public portfolio links or public profiles. Access is restricted to the owner and authorized administrators.
This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
